DIN 2391 ST35 Seamless Carbon Steel Precision Tubes
The chemical composition of DIN 2391 ST 35 seamless precision steel tubes consists of carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus and sulphur. This chemical composition allows carbon steel DIN 2391 ST 35 tubes to have high hardness at low carbon content and to be processed at a much lower cost than high-carbon steels.
The final heat treatment of DIN 2391 ST 35 tubes is followed by cold drawing, which involves limited distortion. Appropriate further processing permits some degree of cold forming, e.g. bending and expansion.
DIN 2391 ST35 low carbon seamless steel tubes are used for applications requiring excellent hardness properties in a wide variety of chemical industries, water, gas and oil supply pipelines as well as fluid and boiler piping systems.
