Maintenance of railway spikes
Spiks will wear and loosen over time, so they need to be inspected and maintained regularly:
Looseness inspection:
Check whether the spikes are loose, and reinforce the loose spikes in time to prevent the rails from moving.
Corrosion inspection:
Especially in humid and seaside environments, check whether the spikes have signs of corrosion and replace them if necessary.
Spike replacement:
When the spikes are damaged or aged, they need to be replaced with new ones to ensure railway safety.
