ASTM A510 Cold Rolled Coil SAE1006 SAE1008 SAE1010 Carbon Steel Coils
Cold coils are made from hot-rolled coils as raw materials and rolled at room temperature below the recrystallization temperature. They include plates and coils. Those delivered in sheets are called steel plates, also called box plates or flat plates; they are very long and those delivered in rolls are called steel strips, also called coils.
Performance: Mainly using low carbon steel grades, requiring good cold bending and welding properties, as well as certain stamping properties.
