Cold Rolled Carbon Steel Coils for Vehicle Body Manufacturing (DC01, DC02, DC03, DC04)
Carbon steel plate sheet contains less than 2.11% carbon without deliberate alloying. Known for its balance of strength and formability, it includes small amounts of silicon, manganese, sulfur, and phosphorus. Higher carbon content increases hardness and strength while reducing plasticity.
Cold Rolling Process
- Uses hot-rolled steel coils as raw material after pickling and descaling
- Produces hard rolled coils with increased strength and hardness through cold deformation
- Reduced plasticity makes it suitable for simple deformation parts
- Serves as raw material for hot-dip galvanizing plants with annealing lines
- Typical coil weight: 6-13.5 tons with 610mm inner diameter
