Hot-Dip Galvanizing Process
Hot-dip galvanizing involves pickling steel to remove surface iron oxide, followed by cleaning with ammonium chloride or zinc chloride solutions, then immersion in a hot-dip plating tank. The molten zinc reacts with the iron matrix to form a durable alloy layer that bonds the substrate to the coating.
