Galvalume steel, also known as Aluminum-Zinc Alloy Coated Steel, Zincalume steel, aluminized zinc steel (aluzinc steel), or SGLC, is composed of 55% aluminium, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon solidified at 600°C. Its structure consists of aluminium-iron-silicon-zinc, forming a compact quaternary crystal alloy. The surface of galvalume steel sheet is characterized by smooth, flat and attractive appearance with a silver-white base color. The special coating structure provides excellent corrosion resistance, with a normal service life of up to 25 years. It offers good heat resistance, capable of withstanding high temperature environments up to 315°C. The coating demonstrates excellent adhesion with paint films and provides good processing performance for punching, shearing, and welding operations. The surface conductivity is very good.

Does Galvalume have "self-healing" properties?
Yes. Thanks to the zinc component, Galvalume provides sacrificial protection at cut edges or scratches, preventing rust from spreading into the steel core.
Can Galvalume withstand high temperatures?
Extremely well. It can resist oxidation and remain structural at temperatures up to 315°C (600°F) without discoloration, and even higher for short periods.
Is Galvalume energy-efficient?
