Cold Rolled Zinc Coated Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel Coil GI DC53D+AZ DC51D for Industrial Use
Galvanized coil is a metal material with a zinc layer adhered to the surface of thin steel plate through the continuous galvanizing process. Its main materials are steel and zinc alloy, and it is divided into two types: ordinary galvanized steel plate and alloyed galvanized steel plate.
The production process includes immersing the rolled steel plate in a molten zinc bath. For alloying treatment, it needs to be heated to 500℃ after being taken out of the bath to form a zinc-iron alloy layer, which has advantages in coating adhesion and weldability.
The galvanized coating can be treated with passivation to reduce the occurrence of white rust under humid storage and transportation conditions. However, the anti-corrosion performance of this chemical treatment is limited and it hinders the adhesion of most coatings. This treatment is generally not applied to zinc-iron alloy coatings, except for smooth surfaces. As a rule, manufacturers apply passivation treatment to other types of galvanized coatings.
Galvalume steel is also called Aluminum-Zinc Alloy Coated Steel, Zincalume steel, aluminized zinc steel (aluzinc steel), SGLC. The galvalume metal is composed of 55% aluminium, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon solidified at 600℃.
Its whole structure consists of aluminium-iron-silicon-zinc, forming a compact quaternary crystal alloy. The surface of the galvalume steel sheet is characterized by smooth, flat and gorgeous stars, and its base color is silver white. The special coating structure makes it have excellent corrosion resistance.
The normal service life of galvalume steel sheet is up to 25 years, and its heat resistance is good. It can be used in high temperature environment at 315℃. The adhesion between coating and paint film is good, and it has good processing performance. It can be punched, sheared and welded. The surface conductivity is very good.
