SKD11 is the tool steel, die steel, and high carbon steel possessing high hardness, strength and wear resistance. Its surface is grinded precisely. It is often used for the stamping dies, plastic molds, and so on. High-Carbon High-Chromium alloy steel,SKD11 JIS Standard SKD11 steel is a semi-stainless high-speed tool steel capable of being treated to 64 HRC by Japanese knifemakers. It is very similar to D2 steel of AISI.
