Operation Guidelines
Proper system start-up is essential for membrane preparation and preventing damage. Avoid sudden pressure fluctuations during start-up, shutdown, or cleaning processes. Flush the UF system to eliminate shipping solution before start-up and remove residual air from the system. Initial operations should target 60% of design permeate flow rate.
