Installation & Operation Guidelines

Proper startup procedures are critical to prevent membrane damage and ensure optimal performance. Follow these essential guidelines:

  • Complete membrane preconditioning, module installation, and system calibration per technical manual
  • Avoid sudden pressure changes during startup, shutdown, or cleaning sequences
  • Thoroughly flush the UF system to eliminate shipping solution residues
  • Purge all residual air from the system before operation
  • Start manually at 60% of design capacity, discarding initial permeate as needed
Important: Failure to follow operating limits and guidelines will void the limited warranty. NSF/ANSI 61 certified drinking water modules require specific conditioning procedures before potable water production.
