200GPM Electrodeionization Water Purification System
The Electro-Deionization (EDI) process represents the latest technology in deionized water treatment for achieving ultrapure water quality. EDI utilizes ion exchange resins combined with a DC voltage potential to effectively remove cation and anion contaminants from feed water supplies.
Technology Overview
Ion selective membranes within the modules continuously remove contaminants and discharge them through a small concentrate stream. The applied voltage enables electrochemical water splitting into hydrogen (H+) and hydroxide (OH-) ions within the ion exchange resins, providing continuous regeneration without chemical additives, wastewater disposal requirements, or system shutdown time.
