Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) technology represents an advanced wastewater treatment solution that replaces conventional secondary clarifiers for superior solid/liquid separation. The MemPulse™ MBR process integrates microporous flat sheet membranes directly into activated sludge systems.
Technology Overview
The MBR system features vertically mounted flat sheet membrane modules submerged in the activated sludge tank. Vacuum applied to the permeate manifold draws treated water through the membranes, eliminating the need for secondary clarifiers and delivering high-quality effluent.
