Reverse Osmosis Technology
Reverse osmosis operates by applying pressure to overcome osmotic pressure, forcing water through a semi-permeable membrane while rejecting dissolved solids, suspended particles, and contaminants.
Filtration Process Flow
Raw water → Raw water tank → Raw water pump → Quartz sand filter
→ Antiscale dosing system → Activated carbon filter → High pressure pump
→ Security filter → RO equipment → Pure water tank
Component Functions
- Raw water pump: Provides required pressure for pre-treatment filters
- Quartz sand filter: Removes large particles, suspended solids, colloids, iron, and sediments
- Activated carbon filter: Eliminates color, odor, residual chlorine, and organic substances
- Security filter: Prevents particles larger than 5µm, bacteria, and viruses from reaching RO membrane
- High pressure pump: Supplies necessary working pressure for RO system operation
