Introduction

Habio Keratinase is a new type of enzyme developed by Mianyang Habio Bioengineering Co., Ltd. using modern genetic engineering, microbial (Pichia pastoris) fermentation and advanced post-processing technology. It has high-efficiency disulfide bond reductase and peptidohydrolase activities, can effectively catalyze the hydrolysis of proteins, especially keratin, and can be widely used in industrial fields such as feed, leather, food, and cosmetics.

Definition of Activity

One unit (U) of keratinase activity is defined as the amount of enzyme which liberates 1 μg tyrosine per minute from substrate casein at pH 10.5 and 40℃.
