Product Overview
Habio Neutral Protease is developed by Mianyang Habio Bioengineering Co., Ltd with liquid submerged fermentation technology. It can hydrolyze protein effectively at a wide range of temperatures and pH values, which is applicable to many fields such as feed, leather, depilation, softening, silk, toothpaste, soap, detergent, baking, dairy, etc.
Enzyme Activity Definition
One unit (U) of Protease is defined as the quantity of enzyme, which liberates 1μg Forint positive amino acid and peptide of tyrosine per minute at 40°C and pH 7.5.
Product Functions
1. Feed Industry
Promote the utilization rate of protein, polypeptide, and amino acids, improve animals’ digestive physiological function, and reduce diseases. Highly improve growth performance, and lower costs. It can also be used together with other feed enzymes.
2. Textile Industry
Exclusively hydrolyze impurities such as keratin, elastin, globulin, etc. It can be applied in leather depilation and softening without any damage to collagen. Habio alkaline protease enables to separate mucoid, promote the water absorption of leather, connect fur and skin to loose collagenous fiber, and keep leather soft after tanning. For wool fiber processing, it works well on felting wool, low-temperature dyeing, anti-pilling, soft finish, and biological polishing. For raw silk degumming, it makes finished products soft, smooth, bright, and elastic, lessens the scathe on fabric strength, and reduces energy consumption and environmental pollution.
3. Detergent
With wide substrate specificity, good temperature tolerance, and Ph stability, protease can effectively remove various protein stains. It’s suitable for both cold and hot water washing. Moreover, if used together with lipase or other enzymes, it will produce better effects.
4. Alcohol Brewing
Effectively decompose protein macromolecules, improve the output rate of liquor and flavor components concentration, and boost the clarification of grape wines and the stability of beer foam. It can also be applied in other brewing industries such as soy sauce and vinegar brewing, and enables to be used together with beta-glucanase, cellulase, etc.
5. Other Industries
Applicable to many other industries such as flour processing, gelatin production, meat tenderizing, etc.

2.High Activity in pH5.5 – 10.5( the optimal pH value is 7.5)
3.Good thermostability in 50–55 (mainly used for mash feed without pelleting in high temperature)

Shelf Life and Storage Condition
