Important Installation Guidelines
Compatibility Requirements
This brushless DC motor driver is designed for use with DC brushless motors featuring Hall sensors (120° angle) and three-wire configurations.
Heat Management
Critical: Install a heat sink when output power exceeds 60W. During installation:
- Apply insulation layer for all 6 MOSFETs
- Use heat-conducting silicone grease on insulation for optimal cooling
- Failure to insulate will permanently damage the driver board
Hall Sensor Sequence
Manufacturers may use different Hall sequences. If the motor exhibits abnormal startup, failure to start, or excessive current draw, adjust the Hall sequence immediately to prevent driver damage.
Power Supply Requirements
Important: Provide voltage within the specified operating range (12V-36V). The driver includes built-in 5V for speed control - do not connect external 5V power supply for speed control as this will damage the unit.
