Installation Guidelines
OWPD series pumps are centrifugal pumps requiring pre-filling. Install at the lowest system position to ensure impeller immersion, or pre-fill before powering on.
- Avoid dry-running operation - automatic protection activates after 60 seconds
- Use recommended diameter threaded pipes to prevent air intake and performance degradation
- Impeller rotates clockwise when viewed from inlet direction
- Vertical or horizontal mounting options available
- Ensure proper pipe orientation to facilitate air discharge
- Not suitable for seawater or heavily polluted liquids with large impurities
