Installation Guidelines
Important: DKB80 series pumps are centrifugal pumps that require pre-filling. Install in the lowest system position to ensure the impeller remains immersed in liquid.
- Avoid dry running - pump will automatically stop after 30 seconds of dry operation
- Use recommended diameter pipes to prevent air entry and performance degradation
- Impeller rotates clockwise when viewed from pump inlet
- Vertical or horizontal mounting options available
- Ensure outlet port is upward when installed vertically
- Minimize elbows in piping, especially within 20cm of pump
- Avoid seawater or heavily contaminated liquids with large impurities
