Antibacterial PPGI Steel Coil for Excellent Formability and Corrosion Resistance in Construction
PPGI refers to pre-painted galvanized steel coil, typically fabricated from a hot-dip Al-Zn coated steel substrate. This product begins with cold-rolled steel coil as base metal, which undergoes coating with an aluminum-zinc alloy (standard composition: 55% Al, 43.5% Zn, 1.5% Si) before receiving various paint coatings tailored to customer specifications.
Our color coated steel undergoes rigorous surface pretreatment including degreasing, phosphating, and chromate passivation before the roll coating application. The coated material is then baked and cooled to create the finished product. The paint coating system provides superior corrosion resistance compared to standard galvanized (GI) and galvalume (GL) products.
Such kind of product is mainly used in hospital walls, ceilings, food storage and processing areas, ventilation systems and other facilities, with excellent antibacterial and processing performance.
