BOTO salt spray test machine is an accelerated corrosion test that produces a corrosive attack to the coated samples in order to predict its suitability in use as a protective finish. The appearance of corrosion products (oxides) is evaluated after a period of time. Test duration depends on the corrosion resistance of the coating; the more corrosion resistant the coating is, the longer the period in testing without showing signs of corrosion. Different coatings have different behaviour in salt spray test and consequently, test duration will differ from one type of coating to another.

The Salt Spray Combined Climate Tester is to test: If surface of different material can adopt the corrosion resistance, as well as changes in temperature and humidity after the plating, anodic treatment, spraying, anti-rust oil and other anti-corrosion treatment. This machine is designed to test the influence of salt pollution that might accelerate the corrosion on the metal material outdoors. The device contains the circulation of the sample to the salt fog, dry, hot and humid environment test method.
