(1) Load characteristics

Steel tower members bear small wind pressure, have large section bending stiffness, simple structure and clear force transmission, which can give full play to the bearing capacity of materials. For the bending members of transmission tower, the steel tube with smaller cross-section and larger radius of gyration can give full play to the mechanical properties of the material and meet the requirements of structural stiffness and stability. Especially for the large load tower with larger geometric size and longer members, the advantages of good stability of steel tube tower members are obvious.
