MIC2000 Multi-Channel Gas Alarm Controller for RS485 and 4-20mA Detectors
Overview
The MIC2000 Multi-Channel Gas Alarm Controller is designed for centralized monitoring, alarm management and control of fixed gas detection systems. It accepts both 4-20mA analog signals and RS485 digital signals, allowing multiple gas detectors and industrial transmitters to be connected to one central monitoring unit.
The controller can be configured with 1 to 32 channels of 4-20mA input while simultaneously communicating with up to 255 RS485 devices, depending on system configuration. In addition to gas detectors, compatible 4-20mA transmitters such as temperature, humidity, pressure, wind speed and dust sensors can also be integrated.
A 3.5-inch HD color screen displays real-time readings, alarm information and historical records. Multiple display modes, relay outputs, data storage and optional remote communication make the MIC2000 suitable for industrial plants requiring centralized safety supervision and automatic equipment control.

Real-time trend curve
Channels can be switched automatically or manually. Maximum values, minimum values, gas names and historical trend information can also be displayed according to configuration.
The internal data logging function can store measurement values, alarm events and time information. Users can choose to record continuous concentration data or alarm events only.
Alarm and Relay Control
The controller provides multi-stage gas alarm management for connected detectors.
Each monitoring channel can be assigned independent alarm thresholds. When the measured concentration reaches a preset alarm level, the MIC2000 can activate:
-
Audible alarm
-
Visual alarm
-
Relay output
-
Ventilation fan
-
Solenoid valve
-
External warning device
-
Other connected control equipment
Standard relay contacts support normally open and normally closed operation.
Communication and Remote Monitoring
The MIC2000 can communicate with external monitoring systems using standard industrial interfaces.
Supported or optional interfaces include:
-
RS485
-
MODBUS protocol
-
4-20mA output
-
Ethernet
-
RS232 conversion
-
PC monitoring software
Remote transmission can be used to send real-time field data to a control room, monitoring computer or other centralized platform.
Depending on configuration, communication can be established through wired data transmission, LAN, Internet or wireless networks.
