UT-King Fiber Optic fast Connector field-installable connectors are factory pre-polished connectors that completely eliminate the need for hand polishing in the field. Proven mechanical splice technology ensuring precision fiber alignment, a factory pre-cleaved fiber stub and a proprietary index-matching gel combine to offer an immediate low loss termination to either single-mode or multimode optical fibers.
UT-King's Fast Connector makes it possible to terminate fiber optic cable with SC connector without time-consuming gluing and polishing. No sterile conditions are required to earn, because the front of the optical fiber has been polished and glued in the laboratory. The terminated fiber optic cable is positioned during assembly so that very low insertion loss can be achieved. The optical gel located inside eliminates the effects of a small gap between the inserted fiber end and the fiber mounted inside the joint.
