There is an inverted V shape foot in front of the tool and a pressing panel(plate) behind. Place the inverted V foot between grass edges and the glue-coated(beneath grass edges but on the glue-coated seam tape), it lifts up grass edges while it is moving and re-adjust the seam better, then pressing panel behind which is placed on the edges presses the edges down firmly on the glue-coated seam tape.
The tools is designed with both handle and a hoop connector, can be used in a manner of crouching way with hand pushing it forward, or with a stick or tube with proper length to install into the hoop as a long handle so that you can walk and push it quickly forward.
