Product Overview
Electro-welded single wall refrigeration tubing with dimensions 4.76mm outer diameter and 0.6mm wall thickness. This copper-coated steel Bundy tubing is manufactured using high-frequency induction welding for superior performance in refrigeration applications.
Manufacturing Process
Single wall steel tubing is manufactured by continuously forming a single low carbon steel strip into a tubular shape and welding the adjoining edges using a high-frequency induction welding process. Through strict process controls, the internal weld bead is minimized and all external flashing is removed.
Coating Options
Plain Tube
Supplied with slightly oiled outside surface to improve oxidation resistance. Must be stored in dry conditions away from humidity and corrosive agents.
Electrolytic Both Side Copper Coating
Steel strip is copper coated on both sides with a copper layer ≥2µm. The welding seam area on the outside surface remains uncoated due to scarfing operations.
Hot Dip Zinc Coating
Outside surface coated with zinc layer ≥70 grams per square meter (UNI EN ISO 1460/97). Withstands >72 hours in salt spray fog test before showing red rust (UNI ISO 9227).
