Double-wall tubing is manufactured by roll forming copper-coated carbon steel strip into a double-wrapped tubular configuration. The formed tube undergoes controlled atmosphere brazing furnace processing, creating a permanently fused and sealed tube structure. This construction makes double-wall tubing ideal for applications experiencing high vibration and fatigue levels, particularly in household and commercial refrigeration compressors.
