BS 3059 Grade 320 tubes are low-cost low carbon steel tubes with maximum 0.16% carbon content and 0.30-0.70% manganese composition, making them easy to form and shape. While not as hard as high carbon steel pipes, these tubes can undergo carburizing to increase surface hardness when required.
