This ASTM A254 DC04 galvanized/zinc coated low carbon steel Bundy coil tube is specifically designed for refrigeration applications, offering superior corrosion resistance and structural integrity.

Manufacturing Process
Single wall steel tubing is manufactured by continuously forming a single low carbon steel strip into a tubular shape and welding the adjoining edges using high-frequency induction welding. Through strict process controls, the internal weld bead is minimized and all external flashing is removed.
Surface Treatment Options
Plain Tube: Supplied with slightly oiled outside surface to improve oxidation resistance. Requires storage in dry conditions away from humidity and corrosive agents.
Electrolytic Copper Coating: Steel strip copper coated on both sides with ≥2µm copper layer. The welding seam area on the outside surface remains uncoated due to scarfing operations.
Hot Dip Zinc Coating: Outside surface coated with zinc layer ≥70 grams per square meter (UNI EN ISO 1460/97). Withstands >72 hours in salt spray fog test before showing red rust (UNI ISO 9227).
