This smart split keypad gas meter features automatic valve control and complies with international STS standards. The system consists of a prepaid gas meter with aluminum or steel casing and a separate customer interface unit (CIU) for remote valve operation and management.
The automatic valve system provides comprehensive safety protection by immediately closing the gas valve during leakage detection and alerting users to address potential hazards. This prevents gas diffusion, fire explosions, and other safety incidents while ensuring user safety and property protection.
The separate CIU allows users to enter recharge tokens and access information via short codes. Each gas meter is paired with a unique CIU to prevent interference between nearby units. The communication module enables users to check usage status, recharge, and query information remotely when the gas meter is in inaccessible locations.
