1.Product Overview

Pre lacquered steel sheet is used where a coated steel substrate and a finished color surface are both required in one material. This product covers 0.18mm to 1.2mm thickness and 700mm to 1250mm width, with optional protective film on the top side for surface protection during handling and installation.

The product can be supplied on galvanized steel, galvalume steel, or cold rolled steel base. That allows the sheet to be selected according to corrosion environment, fabrication route, and final appearance requirement.

2.Technical Solution

The sheet uses a multi-layer coating structure. The top side uses 15–20 micron polyester with 5 micron primer. The back side uses 5–7 micron, or 7–8 micron polyester with 5 micron primer. In practical use, this coating build affects surface durability, color stability, and resistance to handling damage.

Available coating systems include PE, SMP, HDP, and PVDF. PE is commonly used for general applications. SMP is selected where better weather resistance is needed. HDP is more suitable where higher coating durability is required. PVDF is generally used where UV resistance and long-term exterior performance are more important.
