Pre Lacquered Steel Sheet With 15-20 Micron Polyester +5 Micron Primer Color
Pre Lacquered Steel Sheet With 15-20 Micron Polyester +5 Micron Primer Color
1.Product Overview
Pre lacquered steel sheet is used where a coated steel substrate and a finished color surface are required in one material. It is suitable for roofing sheets, wall cladding, ceiling panels, appliance panels, furniture parts, and general fabricated sheet components where appearance, corrosion resistance, and processing compatibility need to be considered together.
This product range covers 0.18mm to 1.2mm thickness, 700mm to 1250mm width, and 1500mm to 5800mm length. Base metal options include galvanized steel, galvalume steel, and cold rolled steel, which allows the sheet to be selected according to service environment and fabrication route.
2.Technical Solution
The sheet uses a multi-layer coating structure on steel substrate. The top side uses 15–20 micron polyester with 5 micron primer. The back side uses 5–7 micron, or 7–8 micron polyester with 5 micron primer. In actual use, this coating build affects surface durability, color stability, handling resistance, and service consistency after forming and installation.
Available coating systems include PE, SMP, HDP, and PVDF. PE is commonly used for standard applications. SMP is selected where better weather resistance is needed. HDP is more suitable where higher coating durability is required. PVDF is generally used where stronger UV resistance, chemical resistance, and long-term exterior performance are more important.

4.Application
- This material is suitable for roofing sheets, wall cladding, façade parts, ceiling panels, and interior or exterior decorative sheet applications.
- It can also be used for appliance panels, furniture parts, automotive related components, and other fabricated sheet products where a finished visible surface and coated substrate are required in one material.
5.Processing
- The sheet can be supplied in cut length for direct fabrication.
- It is suitable for cutting, bending, roll forming, profiling, and general sheet metal processing.
- When the final part has visible surface requirements, protective film on the top side can be selected to reduce handling damage during transport and installation.
- Base metal and coating type should be selected together according to forming severity, outdoor exposure, and required service condition.
6.Advantages
- The 0.18mm–1.2mm thickness range supports light to medium sheet fabrication.
- The 700mm–1250mm width range matches common panel and cladding processing routes.
- The 1500mm–5800mm length range supports both shorter fabricated parts and larger panel layouts.
- Multiple base metal options allow selection by corrosion environment and end use.
- Multiple coating systems allow the sheet to be matched to standard applications or more demanding exterior exposure.
- The defined top and back coating structure helps support consistent processing and service performance.
7.How to Choose
- Choose galvanized steel base for general painted sheet applications where zinc coated substrate is required.
- Choose galvalume steel base when improved corrosion resistance and heat reflectivity are more important.
- Choose cold rolled steel base when the application is mainly for interior or protected-use fabrication.
- Choose PE for standard use, SMP for stronger weather exposure, HDP for higher durability demand, and PVDF for longer-term exterior applications.
- Choose thickness according to panel rigidity, forming route, and installation span.
- Choose length according to blank layout, transport condition, and installation size.
