The zinc-plated finish is corrosion-resistant to increase the longevity and durability of this jack, and the easy to use greaseable zerk fitting allows you to lubricate the jack's gear housing as necessary to keep it easy to jack up and down. This jack is frequently seen on boat trailers with boats ranging from 20 to 30 feet and is sometimes mounted with two jacks on either side of the tongue to increase capacity and to increase the stability of the trailer when not attached to a towing vehicle.
