Rechargeable Battery Usage Instructions
A. Charge
- Charge Current: Charging current should be less than the maximum value specified. Higher currents may damage electrical, mechanical, and safety performance, leading to heat generation or leakage.
- Charge Voltage: Charging shall be done by voltage less than 4.2V/cell. Charging beyond 4.3V is strictly prohibited and may cause damage to cell performance and safety.
- Charging Temperature: The cell shall be charged within the specified temperature range.
- Prohibition of Reverse Charge: Reverse charge is prohibited. Ensure correct polarity before wiring to prevent degradation of cell performance and safety hazards.
B. Discharge
- Discharge Current: Discharge at less than the maximum specified current. High discharging current may reduce capacity or cause overheating.
- Discharge Temperature: Discharge within the specified temperature range.
- Over-Discharge: Charge periodically to maintain voltage between 3.7V and 3.9V when not in use. Over-discharging may cause loss of cell performance and characteristics.
C. Storage
For long-term storage, maintain cell voltage at 3.7~3.9V and store according to specified conditions.
D. Handling of Cells
- Film Package Strength: Avoid contact with sharp edges. Do not expose sealed edges to heat above 100°C, bending, or folding.
- Short Circuit Prevention: Do not bend tabs. Shorting terminals is strictly prohibited as it may damage cells and cause safety accidents.
