Doors Frame:

Position & Orientation
A frame's position is another feature that significantly influences your final choice on frames. Sun exposure, weather conditions, wind pressure and the frame's orientation are factors that have to be considered (ex. for northern orientated windows, choosing energy inefficient frames is not advised, due to immense energy losses. Window and Door Hinges
Hinges are a distinctive part of all opening systems. Depending on the requirements, hinges may have different characteristics, the main of which is their load capacity:

Hinges may be either visible on the system, or concealed as a more refined solution. In case of visible hinges, their design and colour complete the appearance of the system. Usually hinges have a cylindrical shape and are available in most popular colours of powder coating and anodising.

Depending on the application, hinges meet different technical requirements and can be found with different names:

In projecting windows the hinges are called "stay arms"
In pivoting windows they are called "pivot hinges"
In bifolding doors, 'roller-hinges' are used, as a combination of rollers and hinges
Finally, they can be screw-fixed or clamped according to their installation on windows or doors.
