Technology Application

Using methanol as raw material, crude hydrogen (mainly CO2, H2, and trace CO, CH4) is produced by steam cracking process, and then purified by pressure swing adsorption technology to obtain hydrogen with purity meeting the requirements of users.
The raw methanol and raw desalted water are premixed at a certain ratio, pressurized by metering pump, preheated, gasified and superheated, and then enter the reactor. Under the action of catalyst, the reaction is carried out to generate crude hydrogen. After heat exchange, the heat is recovered, cooled, and then enter the pressure swing adsorption device for final purification.

Silica gel adsorbent is a kind of amorphous silica synthesis, it is a continuous network of silica colloidal particle rigid, is generally made of sodium silicate solution and inorganic acid prepared by mixing, silica gel not only has a strong affinity for water, but also has strong adsorption capacity for the hydrocarbon and CO2 component.

Characteristics of activated carbon adsorbents is: oxide groups and inorganic impurities on the surface make it weak polarity or non polarity, especially large internal surface area of activated carbon, which has become a broad spectrum waterproof adsorbent which can absorb a large amount of a variety of weak polarity and non polar organic molecular .
