Transparent Non Rebreather Bag PVC Oxygen Respirator Face Mask
Design: The non-rebreather bag consists of a mask that covers the patient's nose and mouth, along with a reservoir bag attached to the mask. The mask is typically made of soft, flexible materials and has an adjustable strap to secure it in place.
The reservoir bag is made of transparent material and is used to temporarily store oxygen.
One-Way Valve: The non-rebreather mask has a one-way valve and an attached oxygen source, such as an oxygen cylinder or wall outlet. The one-way valve allows oxygen to flow from the source into the mask and reservoir bag, but prevents the patient from inhaling exhaled air or room air.
Oxygen Delivery: When the patient inhales, the one-way valve opens, allowing oxygen from the reservoir bag to be inhaled. During exhalation, the valve closes, preventing the patient from rebreathing exhaled air. This helps ensure that the patient receives a high concentration of oxygen with each breath.
Adjustable Oxygen Flow: The oxygen flow rate can be adjusted based on the patient's oxygen requirements and prescribed therapy. The flow rate is typically set at a level that ensures the reservoir bag remains inflated during inhalation.
Safety Considerations: Healthcare professionals closely monitor the patient's oxygen saturation levels and adjust the oxygen flow rate as needed. The non-rebreather bag should be properly fitted and positioned on the patient's face to ensure effective oxygen delivery and minimize the risk of oxygen leakage.

- The star lumen tubing can ensure oxygen flow even if the tube is kinked, different length of the tubing is available.
-
Low-resistance check valve does not contain natural rubber latex, prevents rebreathing and allows exhaled gas to escape.
-
Clear, soft PVC for patient comfort and visual assessment.
-
Adaptor swivels to accommodate patient position
-
Safety vent allows for entrainment of room air.
-
Adjustable nose clip assures comfortable fit.
What is a Non Rebreather Bag?
A non-rebreather mask is a face mask that covers both the nose and mouth. It has two one-way valves:
- One valve is between the face mask and a plastic reservoir bag (typically 1 liter) that’s attached to a supply of oxygen. The valve doesn’t allow exhaled air or outside air from entering the bag, so only oxygen flows from the bag to the mask.
- The other valve allows exhaled air to flow into the atmosphere but doesn’t allow the outside air to enter.
This mask is called “non-rebreather” because, when you’re using it, you’re unable to inhale anything you exhale. It allows you to breathe only pure oxygen. A non-rebreather mask typically delivers 70 to 100 percent oxygen.
Most non-rebreather masks don’t form a perfect seal on your face, in which case you’ll also breathe in some of the air around you.
