Heavy Duty PFA Immersion Heat Exchanger for Saltwater Applications
Product Overview
Designed for heating or cooling of most aqueous acid and alkaline solutions, including saltwater environments. Constructed with premium fluoropolymer materials for exceptional chemical resistance and durability.
Key Features & Specifications
- All wetted parts constructed of fluoropolymer (FEP, PFA or PTFE)
- Heavy duty CPVC mounting bracket for secure installation
- 2 to 4 inch thick perforated guard protects coil from damage
- Heavy wall ½-inch (13mm) tubing improves circulation and minimizes pressure drop
- Integral flexible inlet and outlet manifolds for single point connections
- Standard FEP coils rated up to 30 PSI steam service
- PFA coils available for steam service up to 60 PSI
- 10 PSI minimum steam pressure required for operation
- Exchange area range: 5.5 ft² to 120 ft² standard
- Eliminates stray currents in the tank

Vacuum breakers recommended for fluoropolymer heat exchanger steam heating installations. Consult factory regarding pressure reduced steam applications. Custom exchange area and size configurations available.
