Working Principle
The electric pipe threader utilizes a precision motor-driven system with adjustable chaser sets to create accurate BSPT and NPT threads on steel pipe materials up to 4 inches in diameter.
Installation Guide
- Inspect all parts and accessories for damage including tool bag, oil, teeth, tooth holder, and support legs
- Lift the device and secure the tripod legs, tightening screws evenly
- Position back head slightly higher than hammer head to ensure proper cooling oil flow
- Clean threading components and apply grease to moving parts
- Verify machine operation before starting and ensure oil pump functionality
- For relocation, lock the dental head in place and insert a short tube for stability
Operation Manual
Tube Capture Procedure
- Expand thread head and insert tubes from compressor shaft side
- Close rear head first, then front head to secure tubes
- Inspect three jaws from front head and pull knocking head toward yourself to lock tube
- Move front head in opposite direction to release tube after completion
- For short tubes, insert toward teeth head and lock with teeth, then secure with supporting head
Threading Process
- Position cutter away and bring tooth head to working position
- Activate power switch and apply pressure to sliding handle until 3-4 threads are cut
- Release sliding handle for automatic thread completion
Tube Cutting Operation
- Position pipe cutter in working configuration
- Adjust sliding handle to desired cutting point
- Tighten cutter handle securely
- Activate power switch and gradually tighten cutter handle during cutting
- After completion, release cutter handle and raise tube cutter
Enlargement Procedure
- Position lathe head in working configuration
- Secure lathe head in locked position
- Activate power switch and adjust slide knob to engage lathe head with tubes
- Deactivate power and return lathe head to normal position
