Reinforced endotracheal tube is a catheter that is inserted into the trachea for the primary purpose of establishing and maintaining a patent airway and to ensure the adequate exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide. An endotracheal tube is a specific type of tracheal tube that is nearly always inserted through the mouth (orotracheal) or nose (nasotracheal). Reusable Reinforced ETT is equipped with a stainless steel spring to prevent the airway to be kinked during insertion.
Reinforced endotracheal tubes are suitable for situations when there is a need for improved stability and durability, such as during long-term intubation or a procedure that requires frequent repositioning of the patient.
