The Luer lock closed suction system consists of a suction catheter, a Luer lock connector, and a suction control valve. The Luer lock connector allows the suction catheter to be securely attached to the ventilator circuit or other medical equipment. The suction control valve enables the clinician to start and stop the suctioning process.
