Instructions for Use
Set Up Procedure
- Inspect product before use. Do not use if package is not intact.
- Open sealed package and remove product.
- Connect Endotracheal Tube/Tracheostomy Tube to Revolvable adapter.
- Connect ventilator tube to Revolvable Ventilator Connector.
- Attach date label to color ring.
- Before suctioning, ensure cap of MDI Port and Irrigation Port is closed.
- Ensure on-off valve is in open position before suctioning.
Suctioning Procedure
Caution: Always use recommended vacuum levels and consider length of suctioning time.
- Grip three-way adaptor with one hand while feeding suction catheter into tube with other hand.
- Use visible depth markers through protective cover for guidance.
- Once at desired depth, depress vacuum control valve to apply suction.
- Remove suction catheter until protective sleeve is straight.
- Repeat as necessary.
