Instructions for Use
Operation Procedure
- Remove product from pouch, taking care to prevent contamination
- Use syringe with Ruhr tapered joint to completely deflate cuff air, apply water-soluble lubricant or saline, and grip laryngeal mask airway with pen-style hand
- Open patient's mouth and place back tip behind front teeth, using index finger to guide along jaw slowly until resistance is felt
- While maintaining position with one hand, use other hand to press endotracheal tube to prevent displacement
- Use syringe to open valve and inflate cuff to indicated pressure (do not exceed maximum capacity)
- Insert dental pad, secure position, and maintain ventilation
Post-Use Procedure
After use, completely deflate the cuff and carefully remove the laryngeal mask airway.
