Proper Usage Procedure
- Remove the sterile product from packaging, maintaining aseptic technique
- Completely deflate the cuff using a syringe with Ruhr tapered joint
- Apply water-soluble lubricant or saline to the back tip
- Hold the device in pen-style grip and insert through patient's mouth
- Guide along the jaw with index finger until resistance is felt
- Secure position and inflate cuff to indicated pressure (do not exceed maximum capacity)
- Insert dental pad, fix position, and maintain ventilation
- After procedure, completely deflate cuff before removal
