Industrial Hollow Paddle Dryer Overview
The KJG series hollow paddle dryer features dual counter-rotating shafts with unique intermeshing hollow wedge-shaped paddles that provide intimate mixing, optimized heat transfer, and self-cleaning capabilities. With a large heat transfer area to volume ratio achieved through hollow paddles and jacketed vessel design, this compact machine delivers exceptional efficiency with reduced space requirements and lower installation costs.
Working Principle
Steam or thermal oil is injected into the rotary shafts and hollow blades. Wet sludge enters the paddle dryer via screw feeder or sludge pump, where it is indirectly heated by the thermal medium. Continuous rotation exposes new surface areas, ensuring high thermal efficiency as hot soda ash cools. Dry product discharges through the discharge valve while dusty air is cleaned in the cyclone dust collector.
