High-quality excavator travel gearboxes use high-strength alloy steel forged gears. After carburizing and quenching treatment, the surface hardness can reach HRC58-62, which has high wear resistance and impact resistance and can withstand long-term heavy-load operation. The internal lubricating oil circuit adopts a forced lubrication design to ensure that gears and bearings are fully lubricated during high-speed operation, reducing friction loss. At the same time, the gearbox shell is made of die-cast aluminum alloy or cast iron, which has both light weight and deformation resistance, adapting to the harsh outdoor construction environment. During maintenance, it is necessary to regularly check the oil level and oil quality to avoid gear sintering caused by oil shortage or oil contamination. The seals need to be replaced every 2000 hours to prevent leakage failures.
