The main mineral composition of aluminum chrome brick is α-Al2O3-Cr2O3 solid solution. The minor mineral composition is a small amount of compound spinel (or not containing compound spinel), chromium oxide content of 1% ~ 30% refractory brick. There are two kinds of cast chrome corundum bricks and sintered chrome corundum bricks. In general, chrome corundum brick refers to sintered chrome corundum brick.
At present, the application of aluminum chrome brick has been more widely used, one is made of metal chromium slag as the main raw material of chromium corundum brick, the product is widely used in zinc smelting furnace, volatile kiln, chromium corundum brick has excellent thermal vibration stability and high temperature creep performance, and meet the requirements of national circular economy.
