production of threaded workpiece because of its simple structure; Turning thread with thread comb
cutter has high production efficiency, but the tool structure is complex. It is only suitable for medium
and large-scale production of short thread workpieces with fine teeth. The pitch accuracy of turning
trapezoidal thread by ordinary lathe can only reach grade 8 ~ 9 (jb2886-81, the same below);
Machining threads on a specialized thread lathe can significantly improve productivity or accuracy.
