3V DC Pressure Hand Pump 0-40Mpa Hydraulic Pressure Calibrator for Diffused Silicone and Ceramic Sensor
dead weight tester pressure gauge calibration
Description dead weight tester pressure gauge calibration
The Piston Dead Weight Tester is an essential tool for calibrating pressure measurements. It functions as a standard calibration device, using a piston cylinder mechanism to apply a load and establish equilibrium with the pressure below the piston. These testers are considered primary standards, meaning that pressure readings derived from them are based on fundamental quantities such as length, mass, and time.
Most often found in calibration laboratories, dead weight testers play a crucial role in calibrating pressure transfer standards, including electronic pressure measuring devices. By providing a reference pressure traceable to fundamental physical quantities, dead weight testers ensure the accuracy and reliability of pressure measurements across a wide range of applications.

Advantages dead weight tester pressure gauge calibration
Feature china dead weight tester pressure gauge calibration
- The piston and cylinder are constructed from tungsten carbide, a material known for its high strength, high stiffness, and low coefficient of linear expansion with temperature. This ensures stable performance across a wide ambient temperature range of 20 ± 5°C.
- The load's center of gravity is low, and the weight is applied directly to the piston through a cradle, resulting in smooth operation of the piston, minimal pressure fluctuation, and precise indication.
- For pressures exceeding 25MPa, a medium with low viscosity, such as isooctyl sebacate, is used to maintain very high sensitivity.
- All weights utilized are made of non-magnetic stainless steel, ensuring no interference from magnetic fields.
- A piston displacement sensor is employed to monitor the working position, allowing for a piston stroke of ±1.5mm up and down. This results in an instrument display that is sensitive, intelligent, and accurate.
- The instrument has a broad range, with a basic error of ± 0.02% or ± 0.05% at the lower end of 1MPa. The KY100 model manometer can reach upper limits currently available domestically: 60, 100MPa in three measuring ranges.
- Pressure regulation is straightforward, allowing for easy adjustment even at high pressures up to 250MPa.
