Working principle of benchtop pressure source

Benchtop pressure source mainly works based on Pascal principle, generates stable pressure by mechanical or electronic means, and transmits it to the calibrated instrument to realize the calibration and detection of pressure measurement. According to the way of generating pressure, the common types and principles are as follows:

Hydraulic benchtop pressure source: liquid (usually transformer oil, castor oil and other low viscosity, chemically stable liquids) is used as the pressure transmission medium. Pressure is applied to the liquid in the closed container by hand pump or electric pump. Since the liquid is almost incompressible, according to Pascal principle, the pressure applied in one place will be evenly transmitted to all parts of the container. When pressure acts on the connected calibrated pressure instrument, the instrument pointer or electronic display value changes. By comparing with the standard pressure value, the calibration of the calibrated instrument is completed.
