A:  SPCC is a low-carbon steel, which gives it its key properties. It's not a high-strength steel but rather one valued for its         workability.

• Properties: SPCC has good ductility and is easy to press, bend, and deep draw. This makes it ideal for creating complex shapes without cracking. Its surface is also very smooth, which is great for plating, painting, or other surface treatments.
• Applications: It's used in a wide range of products, including automobile parts, electronic appliance casings (like computer towers), office furniture, and household items. Because it's a cold-rolled steel, its dimensions are highly precise.

Q: What is the difference of silicon o-ring and rubber o-ring?
A:  

1. Temperature Resistance

• Silicone O-rings:Excellent high-temperature resistance (-60°C to 230°C / -76°F to 446°F).Performs well in extreme heat but                 can degrade at             very high temps (>250°C) without proper reinforcement.
• Rubber O-rings:Nitrile (NBR): -40°C to 120°C (-40°F to 248°F).
• EPDM: -50°C to 150°C (-58°F to 302°F).
• FKM (Viton): -20°C to 200°C (-4°F to 392°F).

     Winner: Silicone for extreme high & low temps.
     2. Chemical Resistance

• Silicone O-rings:Good resistance to water, ozone, and UV light.Poor resistance to fuels, oils, acids, and solvents.
• Rubber O-rings:Nitrile (NBR): Excellent resistance to oils & fuels.
• EPDM: Resistant to water, steam, and mild chemicals.
• FKM (Viton): Excellent resistance to fuels, oils, acids, and harsh chemicals.

     Winner: Rubber (NBR/FKM) for oil & chemical resistance.
